Speaker Submissions & Award Nominations For #G4C2021 Are Open!

Last year's Festival brought almost 7,000 attendees together for an inspiring event celebrating social impact games and XR, cross-sector collaboration, progressive thinking, and diverse perspectives. The 2021 Games for Change Festival will build off of last year's momentum and ignite our imaginations about how we can realize the potential of years ahead, and address our challenges: achieving equity and social justice, ensuring a thriving planet, and regaining a sense of security.

Today, we are opening speaker submissions for #G4C2021 and calling on the global G4C community to submit their ideas for talks, panels, workshops, and demos. Share your innovative work with developers, educators, researchers, and change-makers who promote social good through digital games and immersive experiences.

We are also excited to announce that nominations for the 2021 Games for Change Awards are open! Nominate your best social impact games and immersive experiences from this past year across six categories: Best Gameplay, Most Innovative, Best Learning Game, Most Significant Impact, Best XR for Change Experience, and Best Student Game. Through a rigorous evaluation process by industry professionals, four finalists will be chosen in each category, all of which will be eligible for Game of the Year!

Submission portals for both sessions and awards close on February 12. More information regarding selection criteria for each can be found on the Games for Change Festival website.
