Last month's New Frontiers showcase at Sundance featured some incredible work by Black artists at the intersection of art, film, science, music, and technology. Join us for an intimate discussion with Michèle Stephenson, Joe Brewster, and idris brewster, a family of creators who led development of "The Changing Same: Episode 1" and "Traveling the Interstitium with Octavia Butler", two pieces that connect our shared present to the past. In "Black Visions/Black Voices: Fostering Equity through Immersive Storytelling", learn about the creative processes each of them use to bring their stories to life, as well as what changes can be made in the industry to support emerging Black creators in XR. This will be the first in a series of Talk and Play events leading up to the Games for Change Virtual Festival on July 12-14, 2021.

Developers can also submit their social impact games released in the past year for the 2021 G4C Awards across 6 competitive categories. Through a rigorous evaluation from industry jurors,  winners will be announced during a live, virtual ceremony!
