THE BATTLE FOR STARFALL CONTINUES!

The Deadzone campaign continues as Strike Teams battle for control of the planet Starfall. This week saw the unveiling of a new location to fight over: Hellion Edge - home of the rebel settlement known as Devil's Run. The weather has turned sour in the area, battering Strike Teams as they search through the urban ruins. These strange storms seem to have something to do with the Nameless...

Meanwhile, last week's location, Command Post Delta, is still in play. As a player in the campaign you have choose whether you will push forward to claim new territory at the expense of defending old areas, or try to hold onto territory that you you have already won without advancing. You could even adopt a balance approach, but this will get more difficult as the campaign continues and more locations are revealed.

You can take part in the Deadzone online Campaign by signing up to the website here and logging your results. Hundreds of players have already done so and the site is now full of battle reports, painted Strike Teams, and exciting details of each faction's progress.
Speaking of the website, data wizard Ciaran has been crunching the numbers and tracking each factions' progress across the planet. You can see the full details on the campaign site itself, but here's a few words fro the man himself on the matter.

"The Plague continues to have the best performance at the planetary level ), a constant so far of the campaign - but a serious defensive effort is now in place by the GCPS. The Nameless are also pushing hard at the vacuum left by the Plague advances and are similarly strongly placed overall.

However, the performance at planetary level is only 1 piece of the Starfall campaign puzzle...

At a standard performance comparison between factions, the GCPS are nigh level to the Plague. Starfall may yet be saved!

With a new location accessible as the fighting advances further southward into the Hellion Edge sector and Devil's Run, a clearer picture on how to control and claim Starfall is emerging."
