Spotlight on Deadzone: OVERKILL
++ On 18th August 2018 the planet of MNTCHQ-18 will be sealed off under Containment Protocol. If you are on the surface at that time you will be redacted from GCPS databases. Have a nice day ++
2017 saw planet MNTCHQ-17 turned into Deadzone, with many factions either digging-in on the surface, or descending upon it to scour what resources remain. Evidently the contagion is spreading and MNTCHQ-18 is being investigated by the Pathfinders...
In this event you'll get to play in 4 cracking games of Deadzone - and we'll lay on lunch and provide you with refreshments throughout the day.
All you need to do is bring a fully fainted 150 point Deadzone Strike Team. Further information can be found in the rules pack
12 hobbyists joined us on Sunday 5th August for the Mantic FIRST SUNDAY Club. The Walking Dead turned out in force as not one, but two multi-player scavenger scenarios were played!
Unsurprisingly Deadzone saw a handful of games being played using the latest OUTBREAK rules supplement. For me it was my first outing of my Plague in several month and I had a cracking game with Deadzone veteran Ian and his Nameless. Later on I was honoured to run a demo of Deadzone for gamers attending from the Phoenix Club, who then bought in to this deceptively simple yet tactically complex game.
The painting table was seeing a lot of use today - not least from my Plague who required a freshening up after their battering on the table.
Finally, a huge thanks to Dave and his son who were in Nottingham for the weekend. They came over to HQ not only to play some The Walking Dead: All Out War, but to take the Resin & Metal Tour. This proved to be as popular as always and they left with big smiles, clutching their complementary miniatures.
Tours of Mantic HQ are available week days (and on the first Sunday of the month) if you want to see how resin and metal models are made - and get a game in

Here at the Mantic Bunker the popular Mantic Monday Club and Mantic FIRST SUNDAY Club are a great opportunity to play in a casual environment. There are good chances to test your wits against Mantic's staff, as well as playing on terrific tables – all in a fun atmosphere.
During club meets we also run 'pop-up' play-test opportunities too, so for example if you fancy helping guide the direction of Vanguard, then get along to a club meet! And of course staff will be on hand should you need to pick up anything from the Mantic Store, be that the latest release, or something that's out of production (sometimes there are non-in-general-production items to pick up!).
Check out our Events and Tournaments for a terrific day of gaming and hobby immersion
