Check out On The Morning You Wake (to the End of the World) - An immersive documentary about nuclear threat

Games for Change is excited to announce On The Morning You Wake (to the End of the World), a three-part virtual reality documentary, is premiering Chapter 1: Take Cover at the 2022 Sundance Film Festival.  For most, nuclear threat is unimaginable—out of sight, and out of our control. On The Morning You Wake makes that threat proximate and uses the first-hand experience of citizens in Hawaii to make clear the fundamental injustice of a world held hostage by nuclear weapons. As the executive producers of this immersive documentary, Games for Change is proud to present a "master class in immersive storytelling" from Archer's Mark and Atlas V, the creators of Notes on Blindness, Sphere, and Vestige. Lead writer Dr. Jamaica Heolimeleikalani Osorio provided spoken word poetry to structure the event in Hawai'i, while Dr. Tamara Lilinoe Patton provided expertise surrounding global nuclear threat through Princeton University's Program on Science and Global Security. The project is presented by the British Film Institute, Oculus/Meta VR for Good, and Arte France.  You can access the online New Frontier exhibition with a Sundance Explorer Pass.
