Last year's Games for Change Festival brought almost 5,000 attendees from across the world together virtually to celebrate social impact games and immersive experiences and promote cross-sector collaboration, diverse perspectives, and innovative ideas. This year, we are thrilled to present the first-ever hybrid Games for Change Festival, which will be packed with opportunities to learn, connect and recharge relationships. Speaker submissions for #G4C2022 are now open! We are calling on the global G4C community to submit ideas for talks, panels, workshops, and demos for both in-person and virtual sessions. Share your innovative work with developers, educators, researchers, and change-makers from all over the world who promote social good through digital games and immersive experiences! Nominations for the 2022 Games for Change Awards are also open — with new award categories added this year! Developers and creators, submit your best social impact games and immersive experiences from this past year across these nine categories: Best Civics Game*, Best Health Game*, Best Narrative Game*, Most Significant Social Impact, Best Gameplay, Most Innovative, Best Learning Game, Best XR for Change Experience, and Best Student Game. Finalists in each category will be chosen through a rigorous evaluation process by industry professionals, and all finalists will be eligible for Game of the Year! Submission portals for both sessions and awards close on February 6. More information about selection criteria can be found on the Games for Change Festival website. |
