It's World Wildlife Day and today we're honouring those who work tirelessly to protect our wildlife.

Rangers are the first, and sometimes only, line of defense between poachers and the world's most iconic species. Many of these brave men and women not only work in dangerous and harsh conditions, they often do so with low pay, little or no support and inadequate equipment.

A recent survey found that 63% of rangers in Asia have faced a life threatening situation and that 74% of them felt they were ill equipped to do their job.

If we want remarkable species such as tigers, rhinos and elephants in the future, we need rangers. But we also need to give rangers the support, tools and training they need to protect wildlife.

Say no to poaching and illegal wildlife trade, the future of wildlife is #inourhands!
