Who would have thought, nine years ago, that a moment of lights out in Sydney in 2007 would grow to become the world's largest grassroots movement for the environment spanning more than 170 countries and territories? Together, with your support, WWF teams around the world have achieved real change with Earth Hour- solar-powered homes in India and the Philippines, fuel-efficient stoves in Nepal and Madagascar, legislative change in Russia, Argentina, the Galápagos Islands and Wales... the list goes on.
