We are working to double wild tigers by 2022! Tigers are the largest species of cat and one of the most iconic animals on the planet. Rampant poaching and habitat loss has led to a 97% population decline over the past century. Tiger numbers are slowly increasing in some countries, but bold and innovative efforts are still needed to achieve one of the most ambitious and visionary conservation goals ever: to double the number of wild tigers by 2022 – the next Chinese year of the tiger. The goal is called Tx2. Download our latest calendar for your desktop and show everyone you support WWF and the work that we do to create a future in which people live in harmony with nature. |
