#G4C18: INITIAL SPEAKER ANNOUNCEMENT

Be part of Games for Change's 15th anniversary as we celebrate the groundbreaking work from the games for impact community over the years. From June 28 - 30, you will also have the unique opportunity to explore the latest developments that continue to push social impact games and immersive technology forward.

G4C is pleased to announce that the annual Games for Change Festival will feature Keynote presentations from Jeffrey Burrell (Head of Corporate Social Responsibility at Riot Games); Kate Edwards (CEO & Principal Consultant at Geogrify); Rajesh Anandan (Senior Vice President UNICEF Ventures, UNICEF USA). Learn more about the speakers below and stay tuned as we continue to announce many other participating industry leaders.
Jeffrey leads a team responsible for social impact, sustainability, and advocacy across the regions where Riot operates. Jeffrey will walk through Riot's structure for CSR and how they utilize systems thinking to deliver value across the spectrum of stakeholders. He willshare examples of various programs and design decisions Riot uses to help deliver sustainable, long-term value for players and communities around the world.
After 25 years in the game industry as a culturalization expert and 5 years as Executive Director of the International Game Developers Association (IGDA), Kate Edwards has gained a unique perspective on the confluence of games and cultures. As an advocate for change in both worlds, Kate will reflect on her professional passion and how that drives her to be a relentless force that reshapes the game industry.
Rajesh Anandan is the co-creator of UNICEF Kid Power, a wearable-for-good that was named one of TIME's 25 Best Inventions of 2016. UNICEF Kid Power was created with the intention of harnessing the inherent goodness of children and using that energy to change the world. When using Kid Power technology, every step taken unlocks lifesaving nutrition that UNICEF USA delivers to malnourished children around the world. To-date the program has saved the lives of over 52,000 children.
