The Games For Change Accelerator | | We are proud to announce the official launch of our Games For Change Accelerator at this year's Game Developers Conference in San Francisco! This new program marks a milestone for the Games For Change community as we will have an opportunity to directly help impact games and XR developers access funding and resources often not available to them. The Games for Change Accelerator draws from the combined experiences of i(x) investments, Games for Change and Quake Capital Partners for sourcing, funding, mentoring, go-to market planning, on-going business development, and continuous support for participating teams in the gaming, XR and immersive media industries.
Through the Games for Change Accelerator program, teams will receive coaching, personalized mentorship targeted at each projects specific needs, and access to our extensive network of strategic partners. We are looking forward to supporting teams as they build games and immersive experiences that encourage growth through learning, innovation in health and wellness, and contribute to making the world a better place. | | About the Games For Change Accelerator
The goal of this four-month program is provide game and XR developers, scientists and innovators with the right resources to get each company and their product to market. To some teams this might mean giving them critical help with funding, to others it might mean connecting them with experts who can help with impact measurement, development, legal or accounting advice, launch marketing or user acquisition.
Five teams per cohort will be based in NYC at Quake's offices and benefit from onsite mentoring and demo days. Applications for the Games For Change Accelerator are open from now until May 31. Development teams will be chosen during the summer months and the program begins in September 2019.
