The deadline for the STEM Your Game Challenge has been extended! Developers now have until January 6th, 2021 to submit their "beta" level or existing game to the Challenge. The 8th Games for Change Latin America Festival starts this weekend! Join our Latin America chapter from December 5 - 12 and explore the exciting social impact games and immersive media being created in South America. The festival will feature workshops, game jams, a pitch competition, mentorship opportunities, and compelling speakers.

Africa Games Week December 3 - 4 Off the back of the last 2 year's physical events, Africa Games Week will drive exposure, opportunities, knowledge and investment to African Game Developers. The virtual event will happen over 2 days and include; International Speakers, Workshops, Roundtables, Pitching Competitions and B2B Matchmaking.
G4C President Susanna Pollack and Lead Game Designer and Facilitator, Dalton Gray will be discussing G4C, and a methodology for game developers interested in exploring impact games.
Games Gathering December 3 - 6 Games Gathering is the biggest B2B conference in Eastern Europe dedicated to game development and the creation of high-quality gaming content. Games Gathering 2020 will be a source for latest trends in the gaming industry. Ask questions to experienced developers, make new acquaintances, chat with professionals and industry stars, and establish useful business contacts!
On December 5, G4C will showcase a panel discussion and pitch competition at Games Gathering that will feature our Serious Games Developer Program. This program is a collaboration between Games for Change, Global Game Jam, and the U.S. Embassy in Kyiv, Ukraine. The panel will include representatives from the Embassy in addition to Susanna Pollack (President, G4C) , Margaret Wallace (Director, Tilting Point), and Kate Edwards (Executive Director, Global Game Jam). Join us for the Panel at 10am ET with a Pitch Competition following from 11am ET - 1pm ET. Winners of the pitch competition will receive $5,000 USD as a prize and Amazon credits.
Games for Impact December 8 - 11 This year's festival, which is virtual due to COVID-19, moves from exploring the games territory to a more practical engagement with it – building ties between game developers, social innovators, educators and funders, providing useful insights, case studies and recommendations.
G4C President Susanna Pollack and Chairman Asi Burak will speak at the annual 2 day event produced by the National Audiovisual Institute of Poland and the Indie Games Poland Foundation.
