Events & Organised Play Co-ordinator Reporting to: Online Sales & Social Media Manager Full-time Position Based in Nottingham, UK We are looking for someone to help grow the number of Mantic Hobbyists through a variety of activities. The role will include being responsible for our Organised Play program for all of our games. You will be creating Organised Play packs that will be used in stockists and gaming clubs, as well as promoting the program and producing all the online resources needed to support it. You will also be responsible for running all our shows and events, demonstrating and selling our products. Seeking out and booking new shows to attend with a trade stand across the UK as well as Europe. You'll also be planning and running events here at our Mantic HQ including Open Days and tournaments. You will be driving to and from the shows, unloading stock and equipment and setting up the stands, sometimes on your own. As well as this, the role will involve recruiting, training and managing our team of Pathfinders. Pathfinders are our passionate Ambassadors who run demo events at stockists, shows and clubs to help introduce more people to the Mantic Hobby. You will be looking after all the Pathfinders across the world (excluding Canada and the United States). You will need to be full of energy and enjoy the challenge of juggling a variety of activities every working day. The ability to display a passion for the miniature games hobby, and share this enthusiasm with other hobbyists is key to this role. At Mantic, we are constantly evolving and growing our business. This means the role will also evolve as we find more ways to achieve success, being comfortable with change and actively seeking out new opportunities are essential to this job. The hardest part of this job will be staying focussed and positive throughout after working long days at shows and events. You will not have the luxury of switching off when you feel tired ;) Requirements for this role: - Clean driving license – the job will involve driving a van in the UK and Europe
- Presentable appearance – you will be in regular contact with the public and need to make a good impression
- Flexible working hours – there will be a lot of weekend work, some evenings, and time away staying overnight in hotels
Ideally, the candidate should also have the following: - Passion for miniature games – a personal passion for the miniature games hobby would be a benefit
- Experience with Organised Play and tournaments
